A Moabitess proves herself worthy (1)
February 28, 2021
All right folks; let us go to the book of Ruth today; Ruth chapter
2.Before we take any comments, let us just get into the Word okay! Let us just
get into the Word before the Spirit comes down!
Ruth 2:1-11
1 And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a
mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz. 2 And
Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears
of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go,
my daughter. 3 And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the
reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz,
who was of the kindred of Elimelech.
4 And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said
unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless
thee. 5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers,
whose damsel is this? 6 And the servant that was set over the reapers
answered and said, it is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of
the country of Moab
7 And she said, I pray you, let me glean and
gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued
even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.
8 Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my
daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide
here fast by my maidens:9Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and
go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch
thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which
the young men have drawn.
10 Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself
to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that
thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?
11 And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath
fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the
death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and
the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not
heretofore.
So, we're now in the middle of the book, and just to give some context:
The whole family of Ruth and Naomi, they are encountering a famine and they've
now moved from Jerusalem to Moab which was an enemy land of Israel; it was an
enemy land of Israel, and they're going to enemy territory. Famines
everywhere, as they are trying to survive! Ruth is married into Naomi's family.
The father has died and the sons have died and now there are only widows, Ruth,
and Orpha and Naomi, her daughters –in-law, and they are now in Moab trying to
survive.
This is where this whole situation enters in with Boaz. And as everybody
knows, Boaz eventually ends up taking Ruth as a wife, and fulfilling what they
call the family redeemer, and basically is able to take care of their family
and bring a lineage to their line. Their line eventually ends up with Ruth,
King David, and then further on: Jesus; through of course a Moabite woman!
Rehab is the same, right, not from Moab but from a pagan lineage, but God again
used that to then bring the lineage of Jesus! Very interesting!
So, from the Moab woman who was an outsider… You see even in
that verse that we read over, she calls herself a stranger. She calls herself a
stranger, because you are not supposed to take on the strange women. That has
always been a key part of the Scripture, especially in the Old Testament, to be
careful of strange women because they have cultural practices. They may have
come from satanic societies where killing your baby through abortion-at that
time is post -birth abortion, through the fires of Baal-is normalized.
Transgenderism, pedophilia, sex trafficking through temple prostitution, all
these things are normalized.
Satan’s invasion through culture
For young people who grew up in those cultures, it is like growing up in
L.A. (Liberal area ?) or something like that. They are saying, “Well, what's wrong with that?
There’s nothing wrong with that!” It is like growing up in some kind of crazy
liberal area! They just think it is normal.
So the people of God were always warned, “Be careful! Do not get tempted
by the women!” Because those women will bring in their cultural gods and idols,
and this is of course what happened with King Saul, and this is what happened
with a lot of the kings in Israel. The beauty of the women enticed them to take
on those women and wives, and then what happened? The cultural practices of
Satanism poured in through there culturally, and then started infecting and
destroying the kingdom of Israel.
This is very important too, because Satan can invade in many ways, but
also he can invade through culture; that is why the Left and political Satanism
want control and monopolies on culture, on journalism, media, Hollywood,
whatever the case may be, anything that is transmitting culture. Because it is
through that, that they can start infecting strong communities such as
Christianity. Christianity builds strong communities.
We had a great interview with Jeff Nyquist! Did everybody see that on
the King’s Report? Beautiful! (Applause) Epoch Times reporter and good friend
of ours; expert on China, etc.! He was talking about that as well. That
Christianity in the beginning phases grew very quickly; it grew in the urban
areas very fast as well, and it started building strong marriages and strong
families. Whereas Communism may start in urban areas and reach out to the
“proletariat,” but it builds nothing; it tears down the family, it tears down
strong marriage. In the end, it gets to this transgenderism nonsense, where you
have male and female as not even a biological thing anymore, and where women’s
sport is being devastated-and all that kind of stuff.
But the point is, Satan can attack us culturally too. That's why even
when I'm training the young people in Jiu-Jitsu, I told them in advance that,
”Look, in the fighting world in any of these martial arts’ dojos that deal with
real fighting communities, there are people that are people like for example 10th Planet
known for promoting weed.” They are a big dojo, they are a big fighting club in
the Jiu-Jitsu and MMA field; they have UFC champions coming out of that club.
But I told them in advance that, you know, just because you practice
Jiu-Jitsu or MMA, or whatever, it doesn't mean that your values are the same.
The majority of the participants in fighting arts tend to be more conservative,
because we have to work very hard. You get brutalized; you get beat up
constantly when you train. So you learn the value of: you have to earn it, and
you have to work for it; you don't get it for free! You do not get those Commie
values.
So, most of the people, just like in the military, or something like
that, are more conservative-leaning, especially in terms of their work ethic
and work view. They may not know a lot about politics, but many lean more
conservative. However there are those in the community that are, I wouldn't say
radical activists but anyway they're more left-leaning, and of course they may
be promoting things like weed or drugs to enhance performance, to enhance your
fighting ability-all this kind of stuff.
And the young people here then they say, “Okay, that gave me a reason to
smoke weed!” I am not saying Eddie Bravo is bador anything like that. He is a
tremendous, tremendous Jiu-Jitsu fighter, one of the few who tap Rochion Gracie
in a Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi competition; he is a tremendous innovator in the field.
And the 10th Planet guys are murderers. They are deadly guys in terms of
Jiu-Jitsu, very, very, high level; but culturally he is a big promoter of weed
and things like that.
No war on drugs
And again in the Kingdom even in the Kingdom Constitution as you see
-it is illegal for the government which cannot grow beyond 10 % of GDP, to do a
war on drugs or a war on poverty or a war on this and that against non-state
actors; okay, it's illegal. Because we know what those end up in, in reality,
when a government goes for a war on drugs. It is not really fighting drugs; it
is starting to monopolize the sale of drugs. That is what happens; so that is
what happens when governments call for a war on drugs!
But as a Christian community we are against drugs; we don't want our
kids involved in drugs, alcohol, that kind of stuff. We want our kids to stay
away from that, and train. And that's why training is good; through hard
training you learn that discipline.
But the point is: At the same time, what we don't want as a Kingdom
culture is some centralized body declaring a war on drugs, pretending like
they're fighting drugs, but in fact what's happening? The drug usage increases;
the drug-related crimes increase. And of course very sad, but people who've
been to Afghanistan saw the pictures have been leaked etc. that our powers
are now in Afghanistan controlling the poppy seeds’ production, which is about
an 80 billion dollar heroin trade that the CIA and FBI want for power and
money. They want to capture that market which is tons of money, okay!
That is why in the Cheon Il Guk Constitution it is prohibited for the
government to grow beyond 10%of GDP, and departments of education, energy,
department of environmental protection, all those are illegal. They cannot
develop any of those things; those are all unconstitutional and they are all
illegal. It is explicit in the Constitution. And of course the war on drugs,
the war on poverty, these kinds of things are also illegal, because in the end
we know that it exacerbates crimes and also drug related deaths.
In the case with Portugal and Forbes Magazine did an article on this, I
believe in 2008 -where they decriminalize the use of narcotics, what does it
do? It takes away the ability for the drug dealers, which are really the
government, from monopolizing and having what has called the “black market
prices.” Just think about the Prohibition in America, when you could not buy
alcohol. And of course we don't advocate alcohol; Father trained us from a
young age, “Don't drink alcohol! It can lead to many sexual problems!”
But even though as a community many of us don't even touch alcohol, we
are against prohibition. Because the state is in the archangel position, in the
Luciferian position, we do not want the archangel position to have dominant
monopoly on that issue.
Just think about the Prohibition when America banned alcohol! Then you
have the gangs, they just make some wine or some liquor in their basements,
okay. Now they are selling a bottle of wine or vodka, whatever they are
selling; they are selling that for 500 dollars, right, because now there is a
monopoly. Nobody can sell it. You cannot walk into CVS, you cannot walk into
some place, and buy a bottle of wine; it is prohibited. So that creates black
market prices, right; only the gangsters are going to make it illegally, and
then they're going to sell it at high prices. That is what we call “black
market prices”.
That happens with narcotics as well; it happens in the exact same way.
So we are strongly against narcotics! We do not tell any of our kids that this
is smart or good; it is dangerous! It can screw up and muck up your life big
time! Amen! Big time! Just like alcohol can muck up your life and become your
god instead of God!
But at the same time, the war on drugs is illegal in the Kingdom
Constitution. Because again when you look at the study with Portugal, as they
decriminalize narcotics, what do they find? All the top health czars in America
were saying, “Oh! You are going to have huge spikes in drug addiction! You're
going to have huge spikes in drug related crimes!” What happened?
The opposite happened over a ten-year period; it happened over a ten-year
period!
Normal shops can sell narcotics. They have warning labels. People
usually do not want to do things to die, usually, so they will have to gauge
their own risk. And what do they find in Portugal over a
ten-year 5 study? Narcotics-related drug crime down; almost
disappeared! And of course, narcotics addictions, down! The people who were
addicted they are still addicted, but it did not skyrocket like the US
war-on-drug people were saying. That being said, again not an endorsement for
drugs! Drugs, bad, bad, bad, bad! Stay away from drugs, kids! Bad, bad, bad,
bad, bad! Stay away; keep your training up! Stay away from drugs, alcohol,
booze, tobacco! Any of those addictive things can get you in bad problems,
right; they can lead up to stuff.
But the point is, what is worse is when organized crime bodies try to
monopolize those trades by using government, and of course we've seen that in
the modern period. Dr. Williams wrote a huge book on that. How the CIA is
running the drug trade, how they were targeting the Black community in
particular in the 60s, through blues and jazz clubs, to pedal cocaine, heroin,
meth etc., and to ravage the Black community to basically kill off the Black
families in conjunction with the welfare state, etc.
He has written a whole book on that; ten times New York Times
bestselling author, and of course friend of ours. If you want to look into
that, just check out his book on that issue.
The point is that the government is in the archangelic Luciferian
position. Remember, God made Lucifer too. God made Lucifer because he was
supposed to serve God and then serve Adam and Eve. God had intended for Adam
and Eve to be in the position of king and priest over His kingdom. But in the
end Lucifer stole that, and through what? Temptation through sexual sin!
Culturally, that is how they try to suck you in, right; they suck you in with
sexual sin, and then build you into a demonic force instead of a godly force.
That is with addiction to porno, boys got to be very careful with that, it starts
with just girls, then it goes to boys, and it goes to children; always that
progression. Transgenderism, same issue! It always, always leads in that form.
So that's why it's very important that we understand the cultural
attacks that Lucifer can make on the people of God as well.
Israelites and foreign women
That is what we are having with Boaz and Moabites in general; it is not
a common practice to allow these women to come into the fold. This is a very
interesting case because in the Book of Ruth, they are not constantly
mentioning God; it is showing how God is moving through the inner workings of
the daily episodes and daily work of His people, in effecting His divine
providence.
So it's interesting, because as you saw, Ruth herself knows already the
Law of Israel; that you're not supposed to take on these strange wives. We were
studying that in Ezra just a couple of days ago, where after the Babylonian Captivity,
when they were reestablishing the Temple in Israel, and they were
reestablishing the community, they had to kick out the wives. Because a lot of
these guys had illegally, against the Law of Israel, taken on these foreign
wives, second and third wives, concubines etc. and of course brought that
culture in.
So God said, “No! We got to get rid of
those wives; no strange wives! I am going to set up my Temple, and I am going
to set up my community once again. Because you've been slaves about in Babylon
and now you think Babylon is good!”
They are making parents sell their daughters to temple prostitution at
the age of 11 and 12, and it is normalized; the culture allows that. It is
normal that you send your daughter to be raped at a Babylonian temple by strange
men; that is considered normal practice! Just like in some of the leftist
areas, killing your baby is celebrated; becoming a murderer of children is
celebrated! This is unfathomable for people who have common sense and have a
conscience!
But you understand, if you grew up in these places, you don't know;
you've grown up in this stuff. You just think, “That's okay! Yeah! It's a
woman's right: whatever, you know!” You have never even thought beyond
that one-step like, “Oh! This is a life! If it’s a life and it has
human rights, it can't be snuffed out, or can't be punished for crimes that it
didn't commit!” You will not even take that step! You will not even
take that step! It is just like, “Oh yeah! Yeah! It is a woman’s
rights, okay; whatever! I'm just trying to get laid here, or whatever.” You
understand what I am saying. That is that kind of culture.
Israelites as a Covenant people
So that is like the cultural context of Moab, and in this whole episode
with Ruth, God shows through this a couple things:
This whole book is celebrated especially in the week of Shavuot. In
the Hebrew festival, you have the Feast of Tabernacles; big one. You
have Passover which celebrates the Exodus from Egypt and freedom from
the pharaoh and from the centralized political Satanism of Egypt, and then of
course you have Shavuot which is the Feast of Weeks. The
Feast of Weeks is celebrating what? The receiving of the Torah or the Laws of
Moses! So, celebrating the receiving of the Word of God, and when the
Israelites became a Covenant people with God.
They are not just another tribe walking around with Bedouin things and
wrapping their heads up, you know like sand people or something like that. No!
They are now a Covenant peoples; Covenant peoples with God. Sand peoples are
like in Star Wars right; it is not like a racist slur against Arab people or
anything like that! No! No! In Star Wars, they call “sand people” people who
live in the desert and rap themselves up. Even though I am not a big Star Wars
fan, I never was too big into it, but I know about sand men, all right.
The point is, in this whole episode, we are now talking about the Feast
of Weeks, and The Book of Ruth is celebrated as the beginning of Israel; not
just freedom from Egypt, but the beginning of Israel as a Covenant peoples.
Covenant peoples! That is very important! Covenant peoples! That is different
from other tribes or lineages that are running around the earth, okay.
A Covenant people area people that are selected by God, and they have a
group responsibility to uphold God's way. So now, they are moving from just
being Bedouins or traveling, wandering people into becoming Covenant people;
which is like being married. The covenant of marriage is also another covenant.
It is like being married to God, and no divorce, even though Israel does try to
divorce God many times, collectively!
The point is, that starting point of the Covenant is also the Week of
Feasts or Shavuot where the Book of Ruth is front and center.
Because this shows the transition from a woman who is Moabite, she cannot be
included in but through the work of God she ends up becoming Boaz's wife. He
happened to be the second closest relative to her. The first guy who was
closest relative to her and Naomi, he said, “Nah!
I do not want them, because I am not going to get their land, or whatever; they
do not have anything. I don't want to take on that wife!”
Boaz the redeemer
So, Boaz whom the Bible talks about as “A man with noble character” ends
up taking her on as a wife, and of course then redeeming Naomi's family. That
is what is called in the Jewish context, a family redeemer; somebody like Boaz
who ended up through marriage, saving part of his family. Are you with me folks?
Now in the New Testament context, same thing! Christ is called the
Redeemer and the Bridegroom! Are you with me, folks? So Christ also as
redeemer, Jesus as redeemer, like Boaz, Boaz is a not the messiah or
anything, but the point is in that image, Jesus now as there al redeemer, comes,
and then what? He redeems us from that stranger land! We are strangers all of
us, strangers to Godin the world of sin, in the world of Satan; strangers unto
God, and God rescues us.
Not because we earned it, but it is because of His love, His mercy, His
grace, His heart of love that He reaches out and saves us!
And in the end God also wants to have that relationship with the apex of His creation that is humanity, so He can give and receive love, and interact and have real relationship with His own children. So God in the New Testament sense is also through Christ, Redeemer and Bridegroom. And just like Boaz has become the bridegroom to the bride Ruth, then the Body of Christ in general becomes “the bride to Jesus.”
