The Kingdom Salvation (3)
August 14, 2016
In the same way, when we are faced with the reality of our sin, it forces us to say, "What's the antidote? What am I going to do? Who's going to save me? I am guilty on judgment day. I am guilty in front of the law. Who is going to save me?" It forces you to go to Christ. That's why all the Family Frauders are all writhing listening to this. They are writhing. Why? Because, number one, of course, they don't want to admit that they are in rebellion against God. They don't want to admit that they are hardened in unrighteousness.
It is like an onion, the crust is like flakey and stuff, that's like self-righteousness. But you have to peel it back. You have to take off that crust of self-righteousness for the tears to come out. You've got to peel back that self-righteousness, that pretended façade that, "I am good before God; God is going to be proud of me. Father thinks I'm good." That's what Mother thinks, that's what she always says. "Father's so proud of what I'm doing." It's utter insanity and lunacy, but she says it. And the people around her think, " Oh, yes, yes, yes, we're doing good job, good job. Mother, ask them for more money, more money." These people are a joke.
It's like this, I like this, Ray Comfort gave this wonderful example. He said, if you go to somebody, and you say, "Hey, somebody paid your $25,000 fine, you're off the hook." That person would probably say, "What are you talking about? What do you mean I have a $25,000 fine, I didn't do anything wrong. What are you talking about? I didn't do anything wrong. What do you mean I have a $25,000 fine? You think I'm stupid?" They will get angry at you. That's like coming to somebody and saying, "Well, did you know Jesus suffered and died for you?" You're giving them the gift without first letting them understand what they've done wrong.
Now, if you came to that same person and said, "You know what, a law enforcement agent has ten pictures of you speeding at 50 miles an hour in a 15 miles per hour zone while they were having a blind children's convention. Blind children walking about through the streets and you had ten different spots where you got caught on camera speeding 40 plus miles over the limit. The penalty for that, because these are blind children, is $25,000 and/or incarceration, but somebody paid your fine."
Now think about that, if you had heard that thing, and let's say that had really happened, you'd say, "Oh, what, the blind, I didn't see that, no, no, I was speeding like that, I didn't see the blind children's convention." Exactly you didn't see it, you were speeding. The blind children's convention was being held, children were walking back and forth through the area, you had ten different warning signs, you got caught on all ten warning signs, and the police officer is now here with the red sirens on. You would feel, "Oh, my goodness, I'm in trouble."
How many people, while you're driving your car, you're speeding along and other people are doing 80 and 90 and 100, ok, maybe not 100, but people are going fast, and you're following behind them. How many do this? All right, so you guys are doing that, and then, you know, everybody is doing it. "Everybody's speeding, I'm not doing anything wrong." Now, all of a sudden, you hear the sirens and you look back in your mirror and you see the red lights flashing, and you see this cop zooming up the highway behind you. Now in your mind, are you saying, "Well, everybody does it?" Or are you saying, "Oh my goodness, how fast was I going?" Which one are you saying? In your mind, is the first thing you say when you see those red lights is, "Oh, everybody is speeding." Or do you say, "Oh, my gosh, I'm going 83!" [laughter] You immediately understand that there is a personal guilt involved, personal crime that you've committed.
And now you will be punished personally for that. Does that make sense? When you recognize that, you recognize, "Oh my gosh, I'm dead. The cop is going to get me. I'm dead, I've got a $300 ticket, I'm dead meat." That's the difference between when you understand the crime that you committed but somebody paid it. "Wow, how grateful." Whoa, he let you off the hook? You were going 90 and he let you off the hook? You know how good you feel after that? But if you had none of that, and you didn't even know you committed a crime, and someone said he paid your $25,000 fine for free, you would say, "Ok, thanks, whatever." And you'd just go along on your business.
This is the problem with modern converts. They don't know they've done anything wrong. They've never been chastised by the serpents of the law, they've never been chastised by the purity of God's law. They don't know that they're sinners; they don't know that they’re liars; they don't know that they're adulterers, they don't know that they are murderers at heart; they don't know that they are deceivers, they don't know that they're thieves. They think they're good people. "So why are you telling me that I've got a $25,000 fine.
I'm a good person, I didn't do nothing wrong!" You see this? And so the gift of Christ suffering for you means nothing. And that's why you have ninety-three to ninety-eight percent of people backsliding, what they call backsliding, but it's false converts is what it means. Someone who did not have a true transformative recreation of the Holy Spirit and now turns from their wicked ways because they see Christ is real. They see that their sin is real.
They see that their place in eternal life is real. Now, somebody who understands that and understands what God has done for them, suffered in blood on the cross, and ten thousand crosses for me to give me my lineage. Wow, now I feel grateful. Does that make sense?
The purpose of life is happiness. The Principle says that in the first line, many people seek happiness. But God's purpose is not only for us to be happy. Obviously we know that, because when we meet Father we know that it's not just to be happy, because he drives us very seriously and strong. It's not only to feel good about ourselves. What you see with a lot of Family Frauders is that they are the people, they are the lukewarm believers, the false converts who hung around, tolerated him long enough to try to get the reward and the badge, and say, "Oh, look I've been faithful, look what I've done." They never served him directly. They never lived with him. Right?
When we don't understand the truth of our nature, we don't think we need forgiveness. It means nothing, it's useless. It's not a real thing. It's just like the story with David. Remember the story with David and Nathan? David had stolen Bathsheba. He killed his own friend, he coveted his neighbor's wife, he's committed adultery, he's killed for her, he killed to get her. He lied, committed adultery, all that, he did it all, he broke all the 10 Commandments, h dishonored, he broke them all. And he thought he was still a good king. Remember this?
And so what does God do? God sends Nathan. Nathan comes to him, and what does Nathan tell him? He tells him, "Hey, look, David, I heard the story of this guy and the field the other day, and this dude… [OK, I'm colloquializing!] And he said, this guy was walking around, and there's this hungry person, this starving person. This guy was like a super billionaire, he had hundreds and thousands of sheep, he could have just given one of them to the poor person, because the person was about to die. But what did he do? He went over to a pauper, somebody who had nothing except a sheep, and he said, "Give me that sheep, I'm going to kill it so that I can feed this poor person."
It's like the Democrats, ok, the progressives, right, that's what they do, they steal your money and say they do good things with it, right? Even though they have luxury mansions and Escalades and all that stuff, right? So this is what Nathan tells David, and David gets upset. He says, "That person must be repaid fourfold, and that evil person will be put to death!" And when Nathan says, "I'm sorry, David, that man is you. You stole a woman from another man. You are that murderer."
And then what happens? David recognizes that he is a sinner and he repents before God. He cries out to God, "I have sinned before You." And Nathan, of course, consoles him saying, "God will give you mercy, you will not die." And David is exceedingly glad, he's so grateful for the mercy he has received because once he realizes he has sinned, and the reality of that sin is personal, it's true. It's like, "I did it." Not just, "Everybody does it." Notice how people always try to do that. Are you a liar, are you a thief, are you adulterer, are you a blasphemer? "Well, according to that standard, everybody does it." Notice that? The point is, liar? Yes. Thief? Yes. Adulterer at heart? Yes. Blasphemer? Yes, I am. See?
That's the point. I am. That's the point. And when David recognized that personal accountability for that sin, he realized, "Oh my gosh, I should be punished." But then God gave him mercy. And when God gave him mercy, was he grateful or ungrateful? Did he have a life-transforming event or not? Life-transforming. Why? Because he understood, he was convicted by the power of God's perfection through the outspring of His nature which is the law. Right? So, the Bible does say, of course, that we are not saved by the law, that is true. But the law can show us that we have sin. Which then sends us to Christ to wash.
And this is the point. The point is the law and grace. When God's kingdom comes, it's not going to be made by man's works. It's not something that we have earned, or which we have created a foundation to build, etc. It's not. That's just haughtiness, that's just arrogance. It's not going to be like that. When God's kingdom comes it's going to be because of God's grace. For example, when we have the Cheon Il Guk Constitution, which protects the citizens' rights, the kingship of the citizen, the citizen/king, it prohibits the growth of government. We've talked about those things many times, that is not because any one of us did great works. It is not because any one of us did good things to achieve that favor.
It is because of God's grace that we receive that protection. People who believe, receive that protection. People who did not betray God, receive that protection. Our only task, what Jesus said, is to love God, that's it. We have to just love Him. Love Him with our heart, mind, soul, strength, all of it. Even the freedoms that we talk about in the modern world, the freedoms that we have in society. Where does that come from? Did we earn our freedoms, did we somehow create them? Did we somehow make up natural rights which we now can have? How is that possible?
If you think you can make it up, well then somebody else can make up a different set. How do you say these are natural rights? These are natural rights because God gave them to us. He gave us the ability to be able to freely speak. He gave us the ability to speak out against evil. He gave us the ability to practice self-defense, and all the other rights in the Bill of Rights. So in the same way the 10 Commandments are like a mirror that exposes our tendency, our wickedness, the same thing is with human rights. Human rights also, and also of course the Constitution shows us on the national level our human temptations, our human frailty, our human sinfulness. It shows us that throughout the course of history we have continually fallen and fallen as nations, not only as individuals, but as nations.
We have allowed archangelic power to grow, we have allowed lying politicians to steal our power; we have allowed large centralized powers to grow, promising us things, but they have always failed; we have always become slaves. So it shows our patterns, our behavior. Just like voting polls show patterns of behavior, male versus female. Polls show that women tend to vote more for socialist systems, liberal/progressive systems, on average, right? So we can see human behavior, we can see how we continue to destroy things, destroy civilization, destroy humanity. We are not as good as we think. Any one of us who thinks we are good, when at the time of Hitler, when everybody was doing it, probably also would have just done it. Just like everybody in America who thinks that they are a good person just allows 54 million children in the womb to be killed, just goes along with it, fine. It's worse then what Hitler was doing because these children are innocent.
The blessing of grace, when we receive the blessing of Father, it is not something that we have earned. Lineage is not something that we have earned. You didn't work for your lineage, you didn't work twenty-one years and then you got blessed with lineage. Does that make sense? UnderUuncle Laban or something. We didn't receive that lineage by our merit. We didn't merit it. We were given that lineage by grace. By the goodness of God. By the love of God, by the victory of God we are given it. Not by our victory. Does that make sense? And this is the real difference between somebody who is true and somebody who is false in believing in Christ, it's what is your relationship with him?
Do you think he's supposed to be your sugar daddy, there to make you feel good about yourself? Or does he show you how desperately you need him? Do you understand when he shows you how desperately you need him that this is love? When you have to face your own demons and face your own unreality, face your own wickedness and run from that, stop relying on your stupid self and rely on his goodness, his perfect righteousness, his perfect victory. Because guess what? The difference between somebody who is true and false, it's that one is perfect; the true believer is perfect in Christ, that's the key.
They still commit sins but they are perfect, they have perfection, they have reached perfection because their unity with Christ is total. All the glory and credit never comes to them, it always goes to Christ. Anything they accomplish, anything they do. They made a beautiful song, but still they say, "God is so good. God gave me that song." They made a beautiful painting. "God gave me that painting." They give the glory to God and not keep it on themselves. See, folks, it's very simple. The difference between good and evil. Do you keep it on yourself or do you keep it on God? You'll meet all the philosophies of the world that will tell you, "Keep it on yourself. You're supposed to do that. It's good. That's empowering. Blah, blah, blah. It's wonderful, it's modern, it's chic, blah, blah, blah." No, you're just doing it to yourself. You're just keeping it on yourself, that's all you're doing. It's old, boring, it's pagan, it's useless, it's destructive in the end. Because you will not be able to conquer all your giants by yourself.
Now, on the other hand, those who give glory to God, even though we're weak, we're still strong. Even though we cannot get up, we can get up. Even though we are being defeated, we will win because God is our solid rock, He is our foundation. So we don't live our life based on personal victories. We live our life to see God's victories. And our mission and joy and purpose is seeing God winning, not just seeing me winning. It's seeing God winning.
That type of person has a different type of power, folks. A totally different type of power. It is rooted in the understanding of themselves as truly when they're honest about it, and they have to be judged by the light of God's law, not by your laws. God's law, when he judges me, I am sick. I'm depraved. I suck. I am not good when God judges me. When his law judges me, I stink. Right? But the purpose is not to stay there, the purpose is, but God doesn't stink. But God doesn't suck. But God doesn't lie. But God doesn't steal. But God doesn't commit adultery. But God doesn't blaspheme and He has saved me from my sin. I'm one with Him. I'm on His side and thus I win. I defeat you Satan and I have power over you. You cannot claim me.
That's the three day ceremony. Satan cannot claim you and your wife, your spouse. Cannot. Not because of our works, but because of God. Totally separated.
What does Father say in Cheon Seong Gyeong 134?
"If Adam and Even had not fallen, God the Creator would have been the eternal Lord. But due to the Fall, Satan became the lord of the world. This became unavoidable. If a girl of noble birth, who was raised within the walls of her house, is violated by an intruder, to whom is she bound? She will be bound to him. That is what happened with the Fall."
What has happened with the Han mother is worse than this because she willingly went and married him. She said, "Come in, rapist, I'll marry you." And this is why the fall at her level has destroyed the world, has destroyed the blessing of this world. The blessing that we lived under. It has destroyed, of course, her own usurped foundation that she stole. Of course that's crumbling. But this is an important lesson for all the peoples of the future to see.
When you live for your own glory, you will perish. You will perish. When you live for your own glory and your own godhood, you will perish. And guess what? Good folks will not let you go along your path. The righteous in Christ will stand up against you and will destroy you. Don't ever think that you can just get away with it. No, no, no, the righteous will come after you. That is the goodness of God. Thank God for that, because that is how wickedness is destroyed, and is overcome.
Folks, when we are praising God today, worshipping Him today, it is so important, we don't want to become like just another Christian church which is just teaching us feel good things and bull. We don't want b.s. We want truth. Truth means we look at ourselves hard, that's why we practice hard martial arts here, because we like seeing truth. [laughter] We like seeing truth.
We don't want to be baby cupped, butter cupped, coddled, whined, winnowed, lapped up, we don't want that. We want real. We want a real relationship with God. We want to be real people. Not deluded, false believers. We want to be real people who love God, who believe in Him, who know Him, who have a relationship with Him. Amen? Because in the end, that's all we've got, folks. When we die and jump with the parachute, that's all you got, I'm sorry, that's all you got. Nothing else matters. Can't use any other excuses, nothing else matters.
